Last Week of Swim Practice

Hello Breaker Families,

This is the final week of swim, with City Meet happening this weekend, starting on Friday, and our end of the year swim banquet/party being next Monday July 13th. It has been an amazing season thus far and we can't wait to see what the last week has in store for us. Here is a bit of information to keep in mind this coming week...

* Practice times will still be the same this week. For Tuesday practice, we ask that high school swimmer go to morning practice instead of the usual evening, as Coach Mackenzie will be coaching evening practice that day.

Morning Practice 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM

Evening Practice 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

* There will be no practice on Friday Morning, but there will be a friend of the team who will be doing air brush tattoos for the swimmers at a TBD price. There will also be an activity to make and decorate clips to clip, give to other teams, at City Meet.

* As for City Meet we are still pretty sparse on information, like warmup times, our seating area, job assingnments etc. We will get more information at our league meeting on Tuesday and I will email out that information as soon as I get it.

* The schedule for City Meet will pretty much be the same with IM events starting at 5:30 PM on Friday. On Saturday morning Bittie Breakers will swim at 8:45 AM and the Fly and Back events will start at 9:00 AM. On Sunday Breast, Free, and Relay events will start at 9:00 AM.

* Also as like in years past, the team will have waters and snow cones for the swimmers. We would love to have a team breakfast table, so if you are interested in bringing some food items you can signup at the link below.

* If it is your first year on the team, we usually do dress up days for City Meet to help show off our team spirit. Friday will be Tacky Tourist day. Saturday will be Tye Dye day. Sunday will be green out day. We hope to see you all dressed up.

* As stated earlier, our end of the year party will be Monday July 13th at 6:00 PM. There will be food, swimming, games, awards, a slideshow, and a movie. We will be watching the Disney movie Teen Beach Movie which is rated G. If you have any pictures that you would like to be included in the end of the year slide show, please send them Coach Kaden's way at (209) 659-3801. Also please reach out to Coach Kaden if you would like to participate in the Coaches vs. Parents vs Swimmers relay at the end of the year party.

As always if you have any questions please reach out to the coaches or team reps.

As always,

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BREAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
