City Meet Halfway Done!!!

Dear Breaker City Meet Families,

City Meet is halfway done! All of our swimmers did a great job today! Here is a list of reminders for tomorrow for the meet alongside some new information.

* All swimmers need to be at St. Mary's High School by 7:00 AM. Warms-ups are at 7:30 AM.

* Upon arrival make sure your swimmer get's their event information written on their hand for the day.

* We have filled all of the volunteer positions. A big thank you to all who have volunteered. Below I have listed the times each one of you are supposed to go to the check-in table at City Meet. Do not leave your designated area until relieved by the Head Meet Marshall. When you check in please tell them the position you are doing, it is marked in the parenthesis next to your names.

Sunday First Half (Report at 8:30 AM):

* Please make sure your child is in their proper staging area at least 4 events before their event. The staging area for the 7 & Under and 8-year-old kids will be on the grass by the pool entrance. The staging area for the 9 and older kids will be at the northeast end of the pool, near the diving boards.

* When you send your kids to staging, have them take a water bottle with them so they can stay hydrated.

* Tomorrow we have relays. If your child is listed on being on a relay team, please make sure they stay for there relay.

* There is no photography or videos allowed to be taken behind the blocks and from behind the 25-yard kids starting area while they swim. If you do not follow this rule you will be asked to leave. The walkway between the bleachers and the pool is for walking only. Do not stop and watch your child from there or you will be asked to leave. To watch your child swim you must sit on the bleachers or stand at the North end of the pool by the diving boards.

* Do not park in no parking areas. If you do your car will be towed and the team will face a 100-point deduction.

* If you would like to purchase a swim meet program they are $10 each. They only take cash.

* There will be a snack bar, food trucks, and a City Meet T-shirt printer.

* For tomorrow Sunday, July 7th, dress up with everything green, including your Brookside Breakers spirit wear.

* You can find the location of where our team will set up by accessing the attachments below. Please bring canopies or umbrellas as well to help provide shade for the team in our camp area.

* City Meet weekend is projected to be hot. The highs on those days will not happen while we are there. The meeting is projected to end by 1:00 on both days. To be prepared bring a lot of water and canopies if you have some.

* For the City Meet the team will have snowcones, water, and breakfast for the swimmers

We as Coaches are so proud of the swimming all of the swimmers have done thus far, we are super excited for tomorrow!

About the Breakers

Welcome to the Brookside Breakers webpage! Here you can see what is happening with your local neighborhood swim team! The Breakers are the neighborhood swim team for the Brookside West community in Stockton, California. The Brookside Breakers Swim team was established over 34 years ago and is a local non-profit swim club with approximately 80-90 swimmers ages 5-18. The Brookside Breakers swim team teaches the sport of swimming in a fun environment while encouraging a competitive attitude at each swimmer's own pace. The development of positive attitudes, healthy bodies, disciplined minds and enduring friendships are among the many rewards the Brookside Breakers Swim team has to offer.
