WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!!
Dear Breaker City Meet Families,
We have one week until City Meet! We have just got our job assignment for City Meet and we have to supply Marshalls. Meet marshals are the bouncers of the swim meets. They assist with crowd control and keep people from going into restricted areas. We have 10 volunteer slots available and they must be filled or our team will not be allowed to swim. WE NEED YOU TO VOLUNTEER!!! For your kids to have a fun and fulfilling experience we need you to volunteer as a Meet Marshall. The slots are half a meet slots. With volunteering you will get a front-row seat to watch your child and the team swim. If you know any teenagers that need volunteer hours, they can sign up as well. You can volunteer at the following link...

Here are a few other notes about City Meet and the end of the swim season...
* Everyone should arrive at St.Mary High School at 6:30 AM. Bitties need to arrive by 8:00 AM. Please let the coaches or a team rep know if your child needs a ride.
* The address for St. Mary's High School is...
5648 N El Dorado St, Stockton, CA 95207
* You can find the location of where our team will set up by accessing the attachments below. There will be a video sent out soon to show how to get to our area.
* If you have not paid for City Meet yet, you must pay Coach Mackenzie ASAP. The team accepts cash or checks. If you do check write it out to Brookside West Owners Association. The cost for the weekend is $7.50 per athlete and $2.50 for every event they will be swimming. Bitties are free. Coach Mackenzie has specifics for what you may owe for your child.
* City Meet weekend is projected to be hot. The highs on those days will not happen while we are there. The meeting ends by noon on both days. To be prepared bring a lot of water and canopies if you have some.
* For the City Meet the team will have snowcones, water, and breakfast.
* City Meet practice will continue at the same times this week. We still ask that your child bring an old shirt to swim in. There will be no practice on the 4th of July!
* Our end-of-the-season banquet will be Saturday, July 13th at 6:00 PM at the pool. There will be swimming, games, awards, and a movie. The team will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, watermelon, and cake. We ask that people volunteer to bring a side or dessert. You can access the signup-Genius to bring something below...
