City Meet Information

Good Evening Breaker Families,

This email is for all Breaker families that will be participating in City Meet.

City Meet is happening the weekend of July 6th and 7th. We ask that all swimmers be at the swimming pool at St. Marys High School at 6:30 AM. The address for St. Marys High School is...

5648 N El Dorado St, Stockton, CA 95207

When you arrive, please have your child check in with the Coaches. Bitties can check in by 8:00 AM. It will probably end somewhere between 12 PM and 1 PM.

Our team is sitting in the middle of the St. Mary's campus. You can look at the attachments of the maps below to find out exactly where. If you have a canopy or umbrella, please bring it to help with providing shade. Also, bring chairs or blankets to sit on throughout the meet.

There is no camping out or setting up chairs and canopies on the pool deck. To watch your child race, you must sit in the bleachers or you can stand near the diving boards on the North side of the pool. No one is allowed to stand or sit in the breezeway between the bleachers and the pool for the sake of the attention of the kids and the viewers in the bleachers. THERE IS NO VIDEO RECORDING OR PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED BEHIND THE 25-YARD SWIMMERS WHO START ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE POOL! ALSO NONE BEHIND THE BLOCKS! If you would like to take photos of your kids or record them you must go to the diving board side of the pool. This rule will be heavily enforced!

We will volunteer assignments that must be filled out by our team. If we do not fill in these assignments on time, then our team will not be allowed to swim. We do not know our meet assignments until Friday evening, for which there will be an email sent out. We do need at least two volunteers to help set up the swim meet on Tuesday, July 2nd, at 6:00 PM. We then also need at least two volunteers to help pick up the meet after the last event on Sunday, July 7th. If you have volunteered yet, please take this opportunity to volunteer to show your support for the swim team and all the swimmers.

According to forecasts, City Meet weekend will be hot. Make sure you and your swimmer stay hydrated and are not in the sun for too long. It is recommended to not have your swimmers wear their caps until right before they swim.

At City Meet, there will be food trucks and a mini snack bar with snacks, food, and drinks for purchase. There will also be a T-shirt stand that prints City Meet shorts and sweatshirts for purchase.
